Never Regret

🔥 Never regret raising dragon slayers in a time where there are literal dragons. 🔥

This isn’t about glorifying or promoting conflict, it is a not-so-subtle recognition that the world our children are inheriting is complex, often volatile, and ever unjust. Pretending otherwise doesn’t protect them; it leaves them unprepared and underutilized.

Raising dragon slayers doesn’t mean raising violent hearts. It means raising people with discernment...with courage. Gifting them the perspective to identify and call out what’s wrong, stand firm in their values, and move toward truth even when it costs them comfort or approval. It means teaching them how to think, not what to think. How to love deeply while setting boundaries, and without becoming people pleasers. How to defend life, dignity, and community without losing their humanity to groupthink and false platitudes.

Dragons today don’t always breathe fire. Most wear suits. Some write laws, and some hide behind systems, silence, or indifference. The answer to that kind of threat isn’t obedience or outright warfare, it’s unending integrity and uncompromisable heart. Its compassion paired with utter backbone. It’s teaching the next generation that empathy is not weakness, and resistance rooted in love is not extremism.

I don’t regret raising children who ask hard questions, who challenge the narratives, and who refuse to accept “that’s just how it is” as the solution to any problem. The world doesn’t need more people who know how to comply. It needs more people who know how to care, how to confront, and how to protect what matters most. Life.

If we want a future worth living in, we have to be brave enough to raise the ones who will create it. We must begin rejecting this control grid and systems of authoritarianism vehemently and at every juncture.

🪬💙🙏
