One "I Can"

A hope, a dream, a step, a plan.
One more, one day, one "I can".
To hope is not an accident,
It’s something I choose to keep.
When doubt tries to talk louder,
When the past pulls at my sleeve.
A dream is more than wishing,
It’s a direction I point myself toward.
Even when the road isn’t mapped,
Even when I have to become someone new
to move onward.
A step turns wanting into motion,
It’s courage showing up without a guarantee.
Momentum born from intention,
Proof that belief doesn’t have to be loud, just
to be.
A plan does not equate to control but rather care,
It’s honoring what matters enough to meet it halfway.
To build a bridge instead of waiting for everything to meet you there.
It is saying what you mean and meaning what you say.
One more opportunity to trust my becoming,
One more moment of choosing myself
without apology.
One more breath taken with deep intention strengthening,
One more decision to align with the best version of me.
One day to try again,
To learn, to adjust, to grow forward.
One day to embrace that you're not perfect,
To accept, to open your arms, and reach out for it.
When the weight feels heavy,
And the distance that remains feels long.
I remind myself that hope is a practice,
Dreams respond to the rhythm of your song.
Steps add up to motion, plans evolve,
One more bit of effort, one day to right the wrong.
One "I can" is sometimes the only push that's needed,
To finally align yourself to the path of where you belong.
🪬💙🙏
