The World

🧿 The world does not need more order and control.

It needs peacemakers, lovers, storytellers instead. 🧿

This world doesn’t need more order imposed from above, more control dressed as security, or more systems that serve only some while leaving out the rest.

It needs peacemakers, lovers, storytellers, dreamers, artists, healers, and doers instead.

Peacemakers choose not to avoid conflict, but rather step into it with their courage and humanity intact. Lovers are not naïve, they are fiercely committed to the dignity of others, even when at risk of their own life. Storytellers are not just artists, they are witnesses, truth-carriers, memory-keepers, legal observers that are there reminding us of who we are when power tries to rewrite reality right before our very eyes.

Activism is simply and potently an undeniable, unshakeable call to act. Against injustice, against oppression, against evil and wrongdoing anywhere...against adversity everywhere.

This is about choosing to see one another fully with love and acceptance for our deepest shared humanity. About refusing narratives that reduce human beings to "us vs. them", statistics and numbers, or devalues them as "less than" anything but equal. We must always remember that communities are held together by collective care, by the willingness to stand up for one another when it matters most, even and especially in light of our personal differences.

We have more in common with each other, than they would like us to believe. Most people want a life for themselves and each other that is full of love, free to look like what works best for them and their community, while peaceful from the conflicts that arise from those who seek control over others.

If you feel that stirring in your chest lately, that pull toward standing up for our neighbors, our community, our shared future...don't ignore or hide from it. That’s not chaos calling, it's our collective inner conscience crying out. An unconditional, unbreakable love for our own humanity asking to be put into motion. The time is now and we are the ones.

The world needs us to be louder, it needs us to be truer, it needs us to act from that truth in peace, prosperity, and progress together!
