United We Stand

ree

Yesterday our country lost something precious, something that words often struggle to honor fully, the core of our civilized dignity.

Charlie Kirk was first and foremost a person, a human like you and me, that was a husband, father, voice, dreamer. Regardless of the strong difference in our political beliefs, regardless of our differences in spiritual perspective, this violence done to him is absolutely unacceptable, and should serve as a shock to the nervous system of our country.

What’s most alarming is that this act didn’t happen in a vacuum. It is a manifestation of deep fractures, of polarization, fear, unchecked anger, and the loud echo chambers that amplify division instead of seeking understanding...on ALL sides of the political spectrum.

We are at a crossroads here people. We can let our outrage divide us further, solidifying the dissolution of our humanity, or we can use it as a catalyst to demand change. Not change in slogans, but in how we listen, how we care, how we guard the very essence of human dignity by what we allow to be normalized in our very own streets.

We must reject violence no matter who its target may be. What ever happened to the phrase "two wrongs don't make a right"? We must speak truth with compassion and be unwavering in its delivery. We must build bridges with those who differ from us, as the very power of human diversity is our ability to build something even more beautiful TOGETHER. We must support systems that encourage dialogue, justice, and cooperation, rather than impunity, control, and power.

When these systems of control, violence, and manipulation thrive... when we are pitted against one another...those in power win, and our collective humanity loses.

Let this moment remind us that it is not just a slogan, but rather the solution. United we stand, divided we fall. Not as a political entity, but as the whole of the human race.

We must commit to peace, to healing, to fostering a culture of shared respect and radical empathy across all lines.

RIP Charlie Kirk, and for all who suffer in silence across the world.
